1. VERY IMPORTANT! "G" rated content only. This is a family friendly site. If it cannot be printed on the front page of the newspaper, or displayed in a second grade classroom, it will not appear on this site. I reserve sole editorial discretion as to which postcards I will post on the site. Item #10 below has some ideas.

2. Postcard Size: Minimum 3-1/2 inches tall, 5 inches wide.
Maximum 4-1/4 inches tall, 6 inches wide.

3. Because of copyright restrictions, I am not allowed to post photographs or newspaper articles. So if your postcard has a photograph, please put your message on the other side so I can scan and post it. I will scan the side with your message. If there is no message, or the message appears with the photograph, your postcard may be rejected.

I have made a template which gives you an entire blank side to write a message. Just print the template out on blank cardstock, cut out the post card and write your message.

4. Don't forget postage ... Otherwise your postcard could have the "boomerang" effect and come right back to you. You need 28 cents postage in the USA.

5. Please do not include a return address. This helps my workflow, so I Don't have to cross them out before scanning. Complete Privacy Policy

6. Please follow the postal regulations for postcards.

7. Have FUN sending your postcard! Be unique, original, and creative!
(The best go into a special section!)

8. ADVERTISING: Postcards that advertise a product or service must be completely handwritten, drawn, painted, etc. no part of the advertising postcard may appear to have been generated by a computer. The following standard computer / printhouse markings that are incidental to a consumer grade postcard are allowed: a. description of picture on front of postcard, b. line or text seperating address from message portion of postcard, c. "place stamp here" indica in top right corner, d. area indicating "post office use only" near bottom of postcard.

Multiple postcards advertising the same product or service must be completely different from one another, and completely different from any postcard we have already received.

My site is primarily a creative venue, NOT an advertising venue, so all I ask, is if you would like to advertise your product or service, please be creative!

I reserve sole discretion to judge and reject postcards not meeting these guidelines. If you would like to whether your card would be accepted, before you affix a stamp to it, please scan and email it to me at the email address on the contact me link above. (indicate you want an opinion before mailing it in.)

9. Multiple postcards from the same person are great, as long as they are different from each other.

10. Postcard ideas: Handwritten postcards are the best. Drawings, trivia, poems, advertisements, words of wisdom, weather reports, political messages, bible verses, info about your city / state / country / society, pearls of knowledge, favorite foods, recipes. The possibilities are endless.

Regular old white glue will help you make unique postcards! If you have something that you would like to send, but it is written / printed on something else, simply glue it to a postcard and then send it in!
